Raffaella Menchetti

Raffaella Menchetti is a multidisciplinary artist: performer, visual artist and director.

Her artistic work spans different media: theatre, performance and visual arts.

She has performed and exhibited in festivals, museums and galleries such as the Piero Manzoni Studio in Milan, the Reina Sofia Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid MPECV (Master in Performing Practice and Visual Culture) presentation, Mom Gallery in Budapest, Altofest International Live Arts Fest in Naples, MAC Museum of Contemporary Arts Conde Duque in Madrid, Nanhay Gallery in Taiwan, among others.

Raffaella’s research focuses on the theme of identity, manipulation and gender studies in relation to technological languages. She creates shows, performances and films. 

Her performance practice combines video, dance and writing.

She has created several workshops that mix new media and performing arts.

He is currently working as a freelance artist and is creating the show Cat Care Calling while simultaneously working as a Tutor at Iuav in Venice Theatre and Choreography section.
